Since the establishment of the NACAC Plan in 2004 it has become ever more evident that the Area needs to develop its full range of products if it is to fashion a long term Marketing Strategy that would be sustainable.
My point of departure in this onerous task today is important. It is important because it draws us all towards a vision of Calvert Woods as a very happy soul. A man who felt that life was fun and that laughter was good.

Current Sport Structure
Table Tennis is currently one of the fastest growing sports in St Vincent and the Grenadines where there is an abundance of talented youth. Over the years the sport has experienced a roller coaster type of performance. Nonetheless, in the recent past a concerted effort has been made to systematically develop the sport. It is against this backdrop that the NOC has given consideration to the introduction of the current programme.
The Bequia All-Stars invitational tour to Trinidad May 5th to 9th, 2005 was a great success and wonderful experience for the young Bequia team. The team traveled with an entourage of 21 persons, including 12 players, head coach Junior Sutton, manager Sabrina Mitchell, Referee Shem Ollivierre, Trainer Anthony Frederick, Executive member Anthony Tannis, and team supporters.
The concept of teamwork is extremely important to the success of any team. All coaches talk about working as one unit, as a unified team. Teamwork and unselfishness create the backbone of a great team, without them a team cannot realistically compete.
