Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; 13 April 2016: The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) has announced that it has become a new member of the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) and expressed its full support and commitment in the further development of the alliance.

The integrated para-sport program for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will be the most extensive in Commonwealth Games history. International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach today officially invited the world's athletes to take part in South America's first ever Olympic Games. It marks exactly one year to go until the opening of the Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016.
