The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) will convene in Guadeloupe in late October where it would host its Annual Workshop (22 October 2016) and 14th General Assembly (23 October 2016).
The meetings would be held at the Caribbean Hotel in the capital city.
07 October; London: The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) – an independent and neutral coalition of more than 70 international multi-industry members – today announced that it has created a draft set of universal integrity standards for sport and will now launch a comprehensive consultation process with stakeholders throughout the world of sport.

New Commonwealth Games Gender Equality Taskforce aims to deliver for women and girls through sport
A Transformation 2022 Gender Equality Taskforce with a mandate to “leave no stone unturned” in pursuit of gender equality opportunities across the Commonwealth sporting spectrum has been set up by Louise Martin CBE, President of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), it will be announced today at the Commonwealth Secretariat’s inaugural Commonwealth Women Leaders’ Summit.
