Former Top-50 ATP Tennis Professional to hold Training Clinic in SVG

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association is pleased to announce the visit of former Top-50 Tennis professional, Mr. Andrew Sznajder to SVG. 

Mr. Sznajder, who has chosen St. Vincent & the Grenadines as a vacation destination, has coordinated with the SVG Tennis Association to conduct a tennis event for junior players on Sunday 24th May at the National Tennis Centre in Villa at 3PM. 

Mr. Sznajder will also practice with SVG’s top junior tennis players during his stay and will visit local Tennis academies and schools.  

The SVGTA is extremely appreciative of Mr. Sznajder’s enthusiasm and efforts in assisting the development of Tennis in SVG. 

Mr. Sznajder’s visit represents the first time in SVG a Tennis professional with such outstanding credentials will assist the sport of Tennis.

Canadian Andrew Sznajder reached a career high ranking of #46 in the world during his professional Tennis career- with a number of victories against top ten players. 

He played NCAA Division 1 Tennis at Pepperdine University in California, where he was NCAA Rookie of the year in 1987 and All-American for three years. 

Mr. Sznajder competed in all major ATP tournaments including Wimbledon, the US Open, the French Open, and the Australian Open- aswell as the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. 

He also represented Canada in Davis cup for eight years and is a six-time Men’s Canadian Singles National Champion.

Andrew Sznajder is Founder and President of the ASHB Group of Companies which focuses on creating breakthroughs, moving beyond limiting beliefs and strategies for peak performance within athletes and individuals. 

The company houses two distinct businesses- a Tennis Academy and a Club Management company focusing on performance hospitality.

Mr. Sznajder’s visit coincides with the SVGTA’s 2009 Men’s Open Tennis Tournament which starts on Friday 15th May and concludes on the 24th May at the Kingstown Lottery Court and the
National Tennis Centre.
