From the Sand to the International Stage: Arnel Horne Achieves FIVB Continental Referee Status

St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to make strides in international volleyball, not only through its athletes but also through its officials.
Arnel Horne has completed the 2026 FIVB International Continental Beach Volleyball Referee Course, held from July 7–12 at the Marriott Resort, Frigate Bay, St. Kitts and Nevis, during the ECVA U20 Beach Volleyball Championship.
The intensive course, conducted under the guidance of FIVB, NORCECA, and the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA), prepares referees to officiate at the highest levels of continental beach volleyball competition. Successfully earning this certification is a testament to Arnel’s professionalism, dedication, and passion for the sport.
As one of St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ newest FIVB International Continental Beach Volleyball Referees, Arnel now joins an elite group of officials qualified to represent the nation on the regional and international stage. His achievement strengthens the country’s pool of certified volleyball officials and contributes to the continued growth and development of beach volleyball throughout the region.
