The St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee (SVGOC) hosted a meeting with Rugby Officials. The local Rugby Association President, Mr. Dellon Durrant, introduced two visitors from World Rugby to the General Secretary of the SVGC, Keith Joseph. The discussion focused on the longstanding relationship between the NOC and the local Rugby organisation, as well as areas of collaboration. Last year, the NOC offered a programme labelled the Development of a National Sport Structure to Rugby. In the pipeline are training programmes for Rugby coaches and the organisation of Technical Courses.
Joseph welcomed the international Rugby officials and expressed the NOC’s continued appreciation for the work of World Rugby with the local association. He also expressed the NOCs’ continued commitment to supporting Rugby well into the future.
