This year, we celebrate International Men’s Day under the theme “Celebrating Men and Boys – Seen, Heard, Supported,” by taking a moment to recognize a few of the men and boys who make up the heart of our sporting community. The fathers and sons, the teammates and coaches in SVG.

We celebrate those who show up, who push through challenges, and who give their time, strength, and love not just for themselves but for others…in sport, and in life. These quiet acts of care and commitment often go unnoticed, but they help shape the kind of people and communities we’re proud to have here in SVG.

But celebrating also means reflecting. Too many of our men and boys still go through life feeling unseen, unheard, and unsupported… carrying heavy burdens in silence. If we truly want to honor them, we have to create spaces where they can speak openly, seek help, and be valued for who they are, not just for what they do.

We want to make sure every man and boy in SVG knows that his voice matters, his dreams are valid, and he’s not alone.
