Guadelajara Update May 27
The Vincentian trio had been drawn in three separate groups for the individual men round of the competition;
in group 6 Kamal Hunte was matched with Alberto Mino of Ecuador, and Brian Afanador of Puerto Rico. In his first match up that took place Thursday 26th May at 5:30pm mexico time Hunte went under to Brian Afanador of Puerto Rico in the match which he lost 3 games to love; scores 4/11; 4/11; 4/11. Hunte next match would be against Alberto Mino of Ecuador at 11:00am.
Guadelajara Update May 24
St. Vincent and the Grenadines had a full schedule of matches being played yesterday monday 23rd May at the CODE II facility in Guadelajara Mexico. St Vincent was drawn in a group that included Cuba, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Our first opponent was Cuba who beat us 3 games to love playing first Carlton Daniel was beaten 3 games to love when he faced Pavel Oxamendy of Cuba score 4/11; 7/11; 7/11.
Keartons and Barrouallie youth to benefit from Table Tennis coaching
Philcol Jeffers is conducting a Table Tennis program for youths in the Barrouallie and Keartons communities. The sessions are being held at the Recreation room of the Kingdom Life Ministries Church in Keartons. Community Coach Cecil Gordon is assisting in this program. Official sessions Monday & Saturday afternoons. Total enrollment is 16.
Table Tennis training for CLICO youth and parents
Training with kids and parents of the CLICO Sports club, venue CLICO Conference Room Kingstown. The training is being conducted by Harvey Graham. The present schedule of one day per week will be increased to two days from next week withCoach K Charles assisting.
