NOC completes another CCCP Course

Another group of Vincentian sport enthusiasts are the beneficiaries of another coaching experience offered by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee (SVGOC).
Chester Morgan and Woodrow Williams, National Coordinators of the Caribbean Coaching Certification Programme (CCCP), a product of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC), conducted the latest edition of the CCCP in St Vincent and the Grenadines last week.

Bringing together personnel from the Division of Sports of the Ministry of Tourism, Sport and Culture, the Coordinators delivered sessions on the role of coaches, professionalism in coaching, the coach as a leader, developing sports skills and fitness, nutrition, rest and regeneration, safety, injury and recovery, planning training sessions and programmes, sport for persons with disability and event planning.
Twenty coaches from a variety of sporting disciplines completed the 20-hour course. All coaches met the requirement.
