Two-day workshop on Governance

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee would be convening a two-day workshop on Governance for all of its affiliates.

The workshops will take place 25 – 26 November at the Expert Computer Centre Conference Room located upstairs The Music Centre, Kingstown.

The workshop comes from the work of the CANOC Academy to facilitate an appreciation for the best practices associated with good governance of NOCs and National Associations. This follows on from the Workshop that featured in Guadeloupe in late October.

The workshop features Mr Michael Pedersen, an internationally recognized expert in good governance, transparency, ethics and integrity. He is an integrity coach, a thought leader and a street volunteer.

In recent years, Mr Michael Pedersen has been focusing on helping sport leaders across sports and countries raise the governance standards of their organizations to a best in practice, leadership level.

Mr Pedersen arrives in the State this evening, Wednesday 22 November and will spend 23 November ensuring that a ll is in place for a successful programme.
