Voluntarism and national sports organisations (Part I)

The mandate of national sporting organisations, one would imagine, requires better servicing of its affiliates such that the aforementioned situation should never occur. Every effort should be made to get their volunteers to see it as a collective responsibility to ensure effective participation towards the realisation of a harmonised management of the sports development process in the organisation to which they have committed themselves.
The consensus nonetheless in St Vincent and the Grenadines appears to be that voluntarism is on the decline. This may very well be the current experience of those at the helm of the LOC for the CWC2007 here at home.
