Great dangers in sport excellence

Parents are fearful that the role models of their children in sport today may tomorrow appear before them on television asking for forgiveness for having made the mistake of using drugs.

Children have difficulty being anything but cynical when they seek to take more than a passing interest in sport and engage in their own research and follow the development of sport.

Society and the family in particular have much work to do in trying to help our children be positive about sport. It is certainly not an easy task.
