Olympic Day 2010

On 23 June, Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world: hundreds of thousands of people – young and old – participate in sports activities, such as runs, exhibitions, music and educational seminars.

On Saturday 26 June 2010 St Vincent and the Grenadines continues the celebration of  Olympic Day with the conclusion of our Olympic Week’s activities, with a Family Day and Olympic Day Run at London Playing Field, Sandy Bay. Weather permitting our programme of activities are:

  • 10:00am Kids in Athletics
  • 11:00am Cricket
  • 12:30noon Rugby
  • 1:00pm Lunch/Snacks
  • 2:00pm Cycling
  • 2:00pm Volleyball
  • 3:30pm Brief Remarks – NOC President
  • 3:35pm Olympic Day Run
