On Thursday, 8 January 2026, the SVGOC Executive convened an informal meeting to discuss several matters relating to the year 2026 and its approach to the scheduled activities. It is a packed year during which the organisation will have national competitive teams engaged at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (24 July – 8 August), the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland (23 July – 2 August), and the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal (31 October – 13 November)
The dates for all Executive and General Council Meetings for 2026 have also been agreed and will be circulated shortly.
The first Executive Meeting of the SVGOC is scheduled for Tuesday, 24 February.
