The foregoing areas are very important to the development of sports in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The inculcation of positive values is important to the creation of a more wholesome society where peace is the most viable option and where harmony prevails. Sport builds unity and engenders peace. Abiding by the rules is critical to the maintenance of harmony among peoples even though they engage in friendly rivalries on the field of play.

No sport can exist without finance. However the various associations must aid in the acquisition of such finances and not leave it all to the government or the private sector. They must strive to develop creative ways of raising funds to get their work done.

Additionally, national sports associations must ensure that they are always fully accountable to their membership and all those who contribute in one way or another to their coffers.
