THE CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE I

NAME

The name of the organization shall be Team Athletics St. Vincent and the Grenadines (TASVG), hereinafter referred to as the Team Athletics SVG.
 
 
 

ARTICLE II

INTERPRETATION

The following are the meanings of some of the critical terms used within the Constitution:
 
ATHLETICS: Track and Field, Road Running, Cross Country Running, Mountain Running and Race Walking.
 
EXECUTIVE: The body charged with managing the day-to-day affairs of the Team Athletics SVG between General Meetings.
 
GENERAL MEETINGS: Meetings of all the affiliates of Team Athletics SVG. The General Meeting is the highest forum of Team Athletics SVG.
 
IAAF: The International Association of Athletic Federations, the international body governing athletics.
 
APPROVED MEET: An Athletics Event that has received written sanction from Team Athletics SVG.
 
ARREARS: Failure by an affiliate to pay the annual dues to Team Athletics SVG by the stipulated date.
